  1. Install MinGW
    1. Download minge-get-setup
    2. Run the installer mingw-get-setup.exe
    3. We assume installation directory is C:\MinGW
    4. Wait until the installation has finished and click the Continue button
    5. MinGW Installation Manager will pop up
    6. Select Basic Setup on the left side of the screen. Mark the following packages to install:
      1. mingw-developer-toolkit
      2. mingw32-base
      3. mingw32-gcc-g++
      4. msys-base
    7. Make sure no other packages are marked
    8. Open the Installation menu and click Apply Changes
    9. Click the Apply button
    10. Patiently wait for the installation to complete
    11. Click the Close button upon completion
    12. Start MinGW shell located in C:\MinGW\msys\1.0\MSYS.BAT
    13. Add base path to fstab by entering
      mount 'C:\MinGW' /mingw
  2. Create SDL library
    1. Please use only version 1.2.15. Version 2.x is not supported by DosBox
    2. Download Development Libraries
    3. Unpack file to your home directory in MinGW
    4. Start MinGW shell
    5. Enter
      cd SDL-1.2.15
      make native
  3. Compile sync•gw edition
    1. Download sources from here
    2. Unpack file to your home directory in MinGW
    3. Start MinGW shell
    4. Enter
      make install
  4. Install sync•gw edition
    1. Create a new directory C:\DoxBox
    2. Copy file C:\MinGW\msys\1.0\local\bin\dosbox.exe to C:\DoxBox
    3. Copy file C:\MinGW\msys\1.0\local\bin\SDL.dll to C:\DoxBox
    4. Copy file C:\MinGW\bin\libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll to C:\DoxBox
    5. Copy file C:\MinGW\bin\cc++-6.dll to C:\DoxBox
    6. Now you're ready to start "DosBox syncgw.com edition"
